Carter Demus
I’m a native Los Angeles artist, I look to my city and community for inspiration. I love all forms of creation and specialize in hand painted nail art and 3D sculpting. I started my journey with art as a child through music and song writing, acting, & painting on canvas. I love nails because they are a whole world on such a tiny canvas, & I especially love the way nails make me feel. I am endlessly inspired by girlhood, the deep history of nails in black & brown communities, & so much of the music I love. I strive to make the vision in my & my clients heads come to fruition.
I’m super inspired by music and movies, and I have
been actively trying to integrate my work with those mediums. Creating a character based off of the things they love, the method they choose to do their nails in, how often they get them done, how basic or out there they may be is one of my favorite parts of creating for film. I love deep character analysis through proxy of nails.
Most of my days are spent creating, concepting, grinding. I’m a very results oriented artist and do not shy away from collaboration. I have recently taken to creative directing my own photoshoots and getting acclimated with shooting my Canon EOS Rebel T6. I am dedicated to making my on screen dreams a reality, and I hope I get to work with you along the way.
